After a Crash
You can read and download our helpful brochure here.
- Turn off the engine. Leave your car where it is if it’s safe to do so. Otherwise, drive to the side of the road or a well-lit parking lot.
- Keep Calm!!!
- If you think you are injured, stay in your car, relax, and ask someone to help.
- Never walk directly between two cars--if one is hit again you could be trapped between them.
- Provide medical help to others ONLY if you are trained to do so.
- Call the police, dialing 911 or 0.
- Do not say the accident was your fault, even if you believe it was. Time for sorting that out will come later.
- Be tactful and courteous; after all, it was an accident, not something done on purpose.
- Take photos of the accident and the location of both vehicles.
- Exchange information: Names, addresses, Witnesses names and phone numbers, insurance info, license plate numbers. Use our brochure to gather information and sketch the scene of the accident.
- Call us:
